First–we hope you and yours are all staying safe and healthy during COVID-19.
With the health of our participants, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and staff in mind we made the hard decision to switch our annual Mark Forester Price of Freedom Race and JAG 28 Memorial Birthday Walk to a virtual event instead of hosting it live in Haleyville on May 16, 2020.
As we all look for ways to take care of each other during social distancing, we wanted to still offer the opportunity for you to help support The Mark Forester Foundation and remember all those who sacrificed so much for us.
We need your help to make our 10th annual Mark Forester Price of Freedom Race and JAG 28 Memorial Birthday Walk the most successful yet! The Mark Forester Foundation relies on this annual event to help provide scholarships for HHS seniors and support many other wonderful veteran and military organizations every year.
Prices for all events have been reduced due to the difficult time affecting everyone, and participants will not receive shirts or bandannas as originally planned this year.
We also want to share a special thank you to our amazing sponsors and participants who have already registered and all those who have stayed on with us during these difficult times. More information will be sent out to inform each of you how we will convert your spot to virtual.
We hope you can join us–from wherever you are– as we run or walk to remember Mark and what he stood for, Faith, Family, and this Country!
