The 12th Annual JAG 28 Memorial Birthday Walk will take place on May 21, 2022 this year. Unfortunately we will not be together in Haleyville, but will hold it virtually again.
You can walk where you choose, and with as big or small of a group as you want. We want to see pictures. Please tag your pictures with #jag28walk2022. If you don’t like social medial (no judging here), then email pics to jag28@markaforester.com We want to share them on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Choose your route, share it, and let’s see pics of your training and then your 28 miles on May 21. We always enjoy the many states (and few countries) that are represented.
Most people think walking is easy and see no need to train. Once you take part in this event you will quickly realize that 28 miles is a long way to walk continuously without preparing. Feet get hot spots and hips start barking…. just to name a few.
